We Will Rock You debuted at the Dominion Theatre in London on May 14, 2002, and continues to play there. It was nominated for one Olivier Award, for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical or Entertainment for Sharon Clarke. The show opened at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne, Australia on August 7, 2003 before moving to Sydney. This production will play in Japan at the Shinjuku Koma Theater in Tokyo from May 27 until August 24, 2005. A Spanish production opened at the Calderon Theatre in Madrid, Spain on October 4, 2003, and has been touring throughout Spain. Most recently, the show opened September 8, 2004 at Paris Las Vegas in (obviously) Las Vegas, and on December 12, 2004 at the Musical Dome in Cologne, Germany. It also ran briefly in Moscow, Russia, from December 2004 to February 2005. |
