Jeff McCarthy. He plays essentially two characters – the crooked Officer Lockstock, and also the narrator of the show. His deadpan delivery and sense of timing are crucial to the success of some of the funniest parts of the show. For more about Jeff, visit Jeff McCarthy Online: The Official Site. |
John Cullum. Caldwell B. Cladwell is a nasty, greedy and selfish man, and John Cullum looks to be enjoying every minute of it, which makes the character that much more enjoyable for the audience as well! His song-and-dance numbers are among the best parts of the show, and he’s wonderful at being mean as well. Learn more about this great actor at About John Cullum. | ![]() |

David Keeley. He was easily my favourite thing about the Toronto production, and just a fantastic performance all around. As the narrator and Officer Lockstock, he displayed a mix of coolness and uncertainty that was engaging and appealing. Even though he’s a bad guy, I’m sure everyone in the audience was on his side. His website seems to be down, but you can find a brief bio at this site. |
Hunter Foster. As the stereotypical leading man, this guy pretty much fits the bill. 🙂 Not only does he act the part well, all earnestness, but a little slow, he’s got a really distinctive voice that seems to fit the music, and his songs are some of the show’s highlights. Spencer Kayden. This is someone I hadn’t heard of before this show, but she’s absolutely perfect as Little Sally. Her matter-of-fact delivery in the scenes with Officer Lockstock are dead-on, and she stands out whenever she’s on stage. I look forward to seeing a lot more of her! |
