As I’ve said before, I really adore everyone in this show, but those here are my absolute favourites. After seeing it on stage, I’m just even more impressed with the entire cast!

Brian D’Arcy James. I just have to say…WOW!! It is not all that often that a performer blows me away by a few lines on TV, but Brian did just that on the Rosie O’Donnell show. And the more I’ve found out about him, the more impressed I’ve become. And after seeing him on stage, I know just what an amazing actor he is. He is really wonderful!! Please visit Brian d’Arcy James: the official website for more info!! |
Jennifer Piech. She is the main reason that Kate McGowan has become one of my very favourite characters!! I just love all her parts, and she is a wonderful actress too. Everyone in the theatre finds themselves rooting for Kate! Find out more about Jennifer at The Unofficial Jennifer Piech Page. |

Michael Cerveris. He played Thomas Andrews, who is one of my favourite characters in both the musical and the movie. And Michael really brings out all the qualities in Andrews that make us feel for him. It’s all so touching!! “Andrew’s Vision” was one of the most moving moments of the show for me. For more information, check out the Official Michael Cerveris Website for more information!! |
Carsten Lepper. I’ve often thought that Mr. Andrews is an incredibly difficult part to play, especially doing “Andrew’s Vision”, which has to convey all of the despair and hopelessness of the sinking, along with the personal defeat of one’s man dream. Anyway, in the Hamburg cast, Carsten pulls it off brilliantly! He gets more of a chance to sing in this show than he did in Elisabeth, and he is fantastic overall! Patrick Stanke. He is Barrett in the original Hamburg cast, and though I wasn’t familiar with him at all before hearing him in this show, I was an instant fan. He’s got a wonderful voice, and the way he sings the lines in the lifeboat scene is incredibly moving!! I would love to see him do the role on stage! Take at trip to the Official Patrick Stanke Fanclub Site or the Official Patrick Stanke Website for more! |
Victoria Clark. She plays Alice Beane, and she does a wonderful job of capturing the essence of the character!! And she was absolutely hilarious on stage!! I simply adore the way she sings the line “I want more than we’ve got now, Edgar, why don’t you?” Anyway, I’m getting off topic. 🙂 If you want to find out more about her, visit The Official Victoria Clark website! |

Martin Moran. He’s Harold Bride, and though the character is a bit of a “geek”, Martin makes him both sweet and interesting. The duet between him and Barrett is one of my favourite musical moments, and he makes me laugh whenever he introduces himself with the entire Marconi creditentials…”Limited”. 🙂 Learn more about Martin at the Official Martin Moran page. |
Clarke Thorell. He played Jim Farrell, and he was just such a sweetie in this role! Kate decides she’s going to get him, and there’s not much the poor guy can do about it! 🙂 I loved all the scenes with the two of them. He’s also a really nice person!! I wish I could have seen him as Barrett! For more information, visit The Unofficial Clarke Thorell Website! |

Marla Schaffel. I was really excited to see her in this show, because I’d already fallen in love with her voice on the Toronto recording of Jane Eyre. And she was fantastic on stage as well! She was so moving, especially in the final scene – I couldn’t even look at her without getting tears in my eyes! For more about Marla, please visit Painting Her Portrait: Marla Schaffel. |
