Raúl Esparza. A couple of my friends had been big fans of his for years, but I’d never really heard him in anything, so I just took their word for it that he was great. Well, after hearing him in this show, I am converted! He’s got a great ability to convey emotion in his singing, as well as having a great voice, and he was just perfect as Jon. Joey McIntyre. Alright, I admit it – I was a New Kids on the Block fan. And, I also own all of Joe’s solo CDs, and have always enjoyed his voice. So when I found out he was doing a Jonathan Larson show in New York – well, there was no doubt I would have to see it! And he really, really impressed me – the voice was great, as I expected, but his acting went beyond what I was hoping for, and made for a wonderful evening of theatre. Jerry Dixon. I wasn’t really familiar with Jerry at all before this show, and although there isn’t an awful lot for Michael to do in the show, he did everything that he was called upon to do brilliantly. He also has a beautiful voice. Check out Jerry’s World to learn more. |
