 Gloria Swanson as Norma Desmond Alright, I have to admit I haven’t actually seen this movie all the way through. I’ve seen bits and pieces of it twice, and more than enough to realize just how much of the musical was actually taken directly from the movie. I think it’s pretty safe to say that any fan of the musical would enjoy the movie, though whether any fan of the movie would enjoy the musical is an entirely different question. I will try to get a hold of this movie and watch it from beginning to end very soon, and add some more thoughts here once I do! |
