Alright, I’m still not over the Alias finale. The more I think about it, the more confused I am. I think it’s not going to be anything like what I think it is though. The good news is, the Season 1 DVD is coming out this fall! I can’t wait! I’m also so excited about the idea of Elton John doing a musical version of the Vampire Chronicles! I hope they do a good job with it. I especially hope that they choose to focus on Lestat, since he’s by far the most interesting one. And I hope the music fits the show. And I would have a *lot* of fun casting that show. 🙂 Speaking of casts, the cast for Elisabeth in Vienna has finally been announced, and it’s just the same as the rumours that have been going around. 🙂 Maya Hakvoort will be playing Elisabeth, with Màtè Kamaràs as der Tod, and Thomas Borchert as Lucheni. Oh, and Jesper as Rudolf, of course. 🙂 Overall the cast sounds really good, and I’m looking forward to seeing it! And I have finally made a decision regarding my European trip. I have decided that I will go to Copenhagen instead of St. Gallen. It was a reaaaaally tough choice, but it came down to the fact that I haven’t seen Atlantis before and my chances of seeing it another time are pretty slim. And I have seen both Jesper and Miss Saigon before, and I can always go to Switzerland another time. So that’s the plan for now. My mom and I have booked our first Kamping Kabin, at the KOA in Kentucky. I also called the one we were planning to stay at in Florida, and they only have *one* cabin, but so far it’s still available. I’m going to call back and book it next weekend, after I’ve been paid. 😉 And, I found a great deal on a hotel in New York (*and* the traveller reviews of it are positive), but it has to be paid up front. Isn’t it time for me to win the lottery? Oh, and to go back to TV, which is where this entry started, I am really disappointed that Aaron Sorkin is leaving The West Wing. The reason I watch that show is for the writing, so if you can really notice a difference next season, I imagine I’ll lose interest pretty quickly. |
