I have decided I am going to mimic my cat this weekend, and move about as often as he does. Which means I have been sitting in one spot for about 6 hours. 😉 Seriously, I don’t know how it’s possible for an animal to sleep so much!
Oh! He just woke up and glared at me. Maybe he knew I was talking about him.
Anyway, sorry for the lack of updates, my Internet has been very tempremental lately, but the Rogers man came and fixed it, so we’re all good now! While I couldn’t go online, I spent most of my time playing Civilization III … is it fair that you get less points for being cultured than you do for killing everyone? I don’t think it is.
I made my leek and sweet potato fritata today, and it’s good! I put bacon in it as well though, wouldn’t want to be too healthy, you know. 🙂 So my hairy Jamaican vegetable from my last entry does actually taste like a potato when it’s cooked, so that was good.
Trip updates: looks like Berlin’s a go instead of Hamburg, unless they extend Titanic, in which case I’ll have to re-evaluate things. But for now, that’s the plan. I may also cancel the day in Salzburg, to give me one more day in Vienna (in an attempt to make sure I see Jesper in Elisabeth…yes, I am sad, I know). The Florida trip is in just 6 weeks now – I can’t wait!!
Thanks to everybody who sent positive thoughts about my mom’s house – she sold it!! This is extremely exciting, as she’s had it on the market for more than three years. So she will be moving to a new house in the middle of July. I will kind of miss the old house, but it’s just not worth it for her to live there. And get this – she will be renting a 5-bedroom house for less each month than I pay for my one-room (not even one-bedroom!) apartment!! Is that fair either??
