Quote of the day: “Alright…who wants some vodka?” — My IR prof at the last class…and he then proceeded to pour for everyone!

Woo hoo!! I’m done classes!!! 🙂 I got my IR essay done this afternoon and handed in, so now I’m finished until exams start next week. Mind you, I’m incredibly ill-prepred for all my exams, but I’m hoping a week will change that. 🙂 However, I am now prepared to totally kick back for the next few days! I’m actually getting my vacation I was moaning about last time! 🙂 Mind you, it’s only a couple of days again, but at least I’m getting away…Alison and I are going to Toronto to see Les Mis! Unfortunately, it sounds like Colm will still be out, but as long as we get to see Tim, it’ll be worth it! So I’m catching the bus in 3 hours so I can get to Toronto at 6 and get in line for rush seats. Yes, I’m insane. 🙂

I had my audition for Little Shop of Horrors yesterday! Okay, first of all, I showed up like 20 minutes late … I’m sure that made a *great* impression! But I couldn’t find the place!!! So I had to learn the dance step in like 5 minutes, when everyone else had half an hour. But I still got it pretty well I think…I’ve had quite a bit of dance training, so it wasn’t really a problem for me. Then I had to sing. 🙂 I ended up doing “I’ll Forget You”, and when I was finished, the director said, “Wow! That’s a beautiful song!” So I guess I didn’t totally butcher it! 🙂 But the pianist totally screwed me up, ’cause he didn’t play any of the melody, *or* the accompaniment that was written! I don’t know what he was playing!! But my timing was totally screwed up because of it. And then she had me sing scales afterwards…which I haven’t done in *years*, and I kept going sharp. It was horrible. 🙂 But she just wanted to see my range, and after deciding I was a soprano, she let me stop. 🙂 I don’t know how it went really…I wasn’t asked to read anything, but on the other hand, I was just trying out for the chorus. And she asked me if I was free for call-backs next weekend, so I’m trying to take that as a good sign.

Okay, just a little Dawson’s Creek rant here…what the heck is Joey thinking???? Hello! You were totally in love with this guy last year (who happens to be an *awesome* guy), and then now that he’s in love with you, you don’t want him anymore? This sucks so much! I thought I liked this Jack guy at first but I don’t anymore. There’s just something about him that bugs me. And poor Dawson … nothing ever goes right for him. And what was with that whole thing about bashing him for wanting life to be like a movie? I say, if he can make it happen, more power to him. And maybe I’m really getting way too into this show. 🙂

Anyway, I’m in my friend’s room, and she probably eventually wants to use her computer. 🙂 So I’ll be back after Toronto, hopefully with more Tim stories! A bientot!
