Out the window: STILL NO SNOW!! A rather windy day
Quote of the day: “A finer man never lived. I love this man!” –Armand, in The Scarlet Pimpernel…which matches my sentiments exactly. 🙂
Well, I’ve done a bit on my IR essay, so I figure I deserve a break. 🙂 I’ve been trying all day to phone my dad, since it’s his birthday, and there’s no one home!! I can’t figure out where my family is. 🙂 I did, however, manage to get my Christmas chocolates made today! Yay me! 🙂 It took me about four hours to make 40 chocolates, 10 of which got eaten before I could hide them from my housemates. 🙂
Oh, and since I know you were all so curious about what I decided to do Thursday night, I ended up going to the Christmas lights ceremony on the Hill, which attracted all sorts of people. The concert kind of sucked, but the bus ride down Confederation Boulevard was neat. But, everyone in my class is mad at me for not going for dinner. 🙂 And, one of the girls refused to even invite me to her Christmas party, since I told her I couldn’t go. 🙂 I do feel bad, ’cause it’s the 5th or 6th time she’s invited me over, and I’m always doing something. I swear she thinks I don’t like her, which isn’t the case at all!! 🙂
I need a vacation. 🙂 I know I just went to New York last month, but it was only two days. I want, like, a whole week. It’s been so long since I had a real vacation, with nothing to do or worry about. I suppose I wouldn’t be feeling this so much if I was actually enjoying what I’m doing, but between my job, which I despise, and school, which is of no interest to me right now, I want nothing more than to get away for a little while!! I’m so looking forward to going home for Christmas, but it’s only for a week and a half, and I’m going to be wishing I was in New York the whole time anyway. 🙂
Speaking of home, I can’t wait to see my little brother. There was this girl standing behind me in line for Beavertails on Thursday night, and her little cousin came running up and gave her a big hug…it just made me miss my little brother even more. 🙂 He’s such a special little boy. I’m going to have to stop calling him little boy soon though…he’s within a couple of inches of me in height! It’s going to kill me when he’s taller than me, which shouldn’t be too much longer since he’s only 11 now.
You know, I really have nothing to say! 🙂 Oh, I just talked to Tim…he’s such a sweetie. He couldn’t talk for long (I woke him up! I felt so bad!!), but he said he’ll call me later. Of course, I probably won’t be here, since I’m never here, but he’ll get to hear my Douglas answering machine message. 🙂
Alright, enough babbling for now! Good night!!
