Only 2 more day of class and I’m done the term! Yay!! And I’m almost half done one of my essays that’s due Monday, and I just sat down and wrote my entire Jekyll & Hyde story in just a little more than an hour this afternoon. I’m proud of myself. 🙂 But I’d been thinking about the story for a long time, so I think that helped. It also put me in quite a J&H mood, so that would explain the picture for today.
Other than that, life is pretty well normal. I don’t think I mentioned that I finally got my desk and bookshelf back, so after two and a half months of having all my stuff on the floor of my room, it’s finally half-organized! Woo hoo! It also made me realize just how much junk I have! And I got 4 new CDs in the mail in the last week, none of which I really needed. I am *such* a pack rat. 🙂
I go home for Christmas in 6 days now, which I’m starting to get pretty excited about. I love this time of year! My mom’s even going to wait to put up the tree until I get home (although she’s doing all the other decorating this weekend). And I have so much baking to do…I’ve come across a couple of gingerbread house patterns that I like, and apparently my mom’s got one picked out too, so I’ll have to do that pretty soon. I do wish it would snow though. I love the nice weather, but it just doesn’t help me get in the Christmas mood!
I have a new idea for this site, so maybe when I get home I’ll have the time (and the resources!) to change it. I’m sure there are a billion more productive things I could do besides changing my site again, but this just sounds like much more fun. 🙂
Anyway, that essay is not going to write itself, no matter how much I wish it would, so I should go give it a little more attention. Happy December everyone, and good with end of term to everyone in university!
