Out the window: There *was* a bit of snow, but it’s clear now
Quote of the day: “I’m the only one in the cast who earned frequent flyer miles…” –Anthony Warlow, talking about the Grease tour
You’ll have to forgive me if I just trail off every now and then…I’m in the middle of listening to The Main Event, which is totally reaffirming all the times I’ve … oh, hold on! Music of the Night…. sorry about that! What was I saying? Oh yeah, it’s totally reaffirming all the times I’ve said that Anthony is perfect. 🙂 There is no one who makes me this excited just by listening to them. I can’t believe I actually said at one point that I would have a hard time choosing between going to New York to see Douglas or going to Australia. Whatever! 🙂 I would have given *anything* to see The Main Event. Or, you know, if he decides to do another solo tour sometime… *sigh* I MUST see this man.
Anyway, I’ll try to concentrate on writing about other things for a minute. Big news of the moment is: I got into Little Shop of Horrors! Woo hoo! I’m in the chorus. LOL! He’s so funny…oh, sorry. Main Event moment. I warned you! 🙂 Anyway, yeah, chorus! It should be a lot of fun…all the people that I met at the callbacks were really nice. And our director has been in Les Mis! You know that’s got to impress me. 🙂
I wrote my first exam last night…it was international relations. And of course, the US had to go and bomb Iraq and blow my theory about why they wouldn’t interfere militarily in the Middle East anytime soon. 🙂 Personally though, the whole thing makes me sick…Iraqi people are being killed just so that some guy can avoid losing his job. I’m not going to get into the whole thing about whether he ought to be impeached or not, but I have totally lost whatever remaining shred of respect I may have had for the man. But anyway. The exam was okay. 🙂 It was four essay questions, in two hours, and the prof said outright that it was partially a test of how much we could write in two hours as well as how well we knew the material. Great.
So I’ve got two more exams…Russian history on Saturday and Canadian politics on Monday. And then I get to go home! Yay! I’m really looking forward to it. I mean, I’d rather be going to New York and Toronto (*sigh*), but I do want to just be at home, and see my family and my cat and everything.
LOL! My housemates must really think I’m strange sometimes when they hear people screaming after each song when I listen to music… 🙂
Speaking of my housemates, we’re going to have a Christmas dinner tomorrow night! I’m really looking forward to it. One of them got a free turkey from work, so she’s going to cook that, and the guys said they’d do potatoes and stuff, and I’ll handle dessert. I actually made sugar cookies today, but I bought a chocolate chocolate chip cake mix with chocolate icing for tomorrow. Do you think I like chocolate? 🙂
Anyway, I do have more studying to do, plus I’ve got my tap class tonight, so I’d better go for now. That, and Anthony’s singing This is the Moment and I’m *really* having trouble concentrating. 🙂
