WOW. It has been *ages* since I’ve written in here! I’ll try to do a really quick summary of the past two months…

Let’s see…there was my birthday, so I’m 22 now, and starting to feel old. πŸ™‚ Although, that may just be because I work with people who are all at least 10 years older than me. Halloween was not very exciting, since I didn’t dress up, and we had no trick-or-treaters. πŸ™

The first weekend of November Alison and I made a return trip to Stratford to see the last performance of Fiddler on the Roof. After a scare with the rush tickets, we got in, and were witness to one of the most amazing shows and incredible audience reactions I’ve ever seen. Brent Carver is brilliant!!!

The next weekend I went to New York…for 18 hours. πŸ™‚ I arrived at 7 a.m. Saturday, spent two hours in line at TKTS (for no good reason!!), went to BarbaraAnne’s, went to Seussical, went out for dinner, went to Jane Eyre, went to Marlowe’s, and got back on the bus at 1 a.m. Needless to say, I was exhausted, but it was more than worth it!! GO SEE JANE EYRE!

Oh, I also went to see You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown in there somewhere too. And then there was the ‘NSYNC concert, which I enjoyed just a little too much. πŸ™‚ It took us FOREVER to get into Skydome though…we were standing outside for more than an hour! And we missed the first opening act, and half of Soul Decision too. But ‘NSYNC was great, and now I’m going to see the Backstreet Boys in February! Thanks Karen and Gill!!! πŸ™‚

Speaking of ‘NSYNC, Alison got me the Lance doll for Christmas. And my roommate got me a Larry the Cucumber hand puppet. I feel like I’m 12 again. πŸ™‚

I made my annual gingerbread house a couple of weeks ago! It’s really, really cute…might be my best one yet! I had a slight problem with the roof, but I think I recovered well. πŸ™‚

I saw Mamma Mia! on Tuesday night, and LOVED it. I mean, I was expecting to enjoy it, but it was just a blast. I have to go see it with Laurie sometime…being the biggest ABBA fan I know, she would adore it. And Camilla Scott wasn’t nearly as bad as I was afraid she’d be. I’d even say she was quite good! I never expected her singing voice to be quite so deep though. And Sam is being played by David Keeley, who I just saw as Horatio in Hamlet this summer…strange.

I spent last weekend in Gananoque with Alison, and now this weekend my roommate’s parents are coming up, so I should be busy until I go home, which is next Wednesday. Only 11 days till Christmas!!

So, that’s my really quick update. I hope everyone who reads this is doing well, and Merry Christmas to all!
