Well, I’m back in Alberta! After a long plane ride, and an even longer train ride, and then spending the day with my father at work, I finally got home last night. I’ve spent the time since then putting up my Christmas town, nativity set, and the Christmas tree. I may bake something this afternoon. It’s nice to be home. 🙂 And, it snowed this morning!! They didn’t have any snow here last night, but when I woke up today, the world was covered in white. Life is good. 🙂
Unfortunately, the keyboard on our computer here is really screwed up, so it’s taking me much longer to type this than it normally should. Some keys just don’t work at all…namely all the number keys across the top, and therefore all of the symbols that go with them. Meaning, I can’t make any exclamation points, or “at” signs, or brackets. So I keep having to copy them from other places and paste them. It’s a little annoying. 🙂
I’ve also started work on the new version of this site, but it’s going to take a little longer than I had originally anticipated. And, of course, I won’t have every day to just lounge around like this….I expect to start working within the next day or two. Tonight I’m going to watch my little brother play hockey in a town about an hour and a half away, and tomorrow I’m either going back there or staying here to watch my sister play basketball.
Speaking of my little brother…he’s the same height as me. This is not fair at all. He’s 8 years younger than me, he’s not supposed to grow so fast. 🙂 We had fun last night watching Veggie Tales, and he helped me unpack and I helped him study for his English exam. I miss him so much when I’m not here. I also miss my kitty terribly, who’s looking very healthy these days! My family tells me this is because he hasn’t been eating…which is not good…but he does look better. And he actually slept with me all last night, which he doesn’t normally do on my first night back. He’s a sweetie.
Anyway, there’s still more decorating I want to do before we have to leave for hockey. Have a great weekend everyone! Only 15 more days till Christmas!!
