Listen to me, I have beautiful dreams I can spin you…

In a way, it’s someone else’s story
I don’t see myself as taking part at all

Well, after nearly six weeks of working on it, I finally finished my Scarlet Pimpernel photo gallery. It took me *forever*. I have over 300 pictures there. They’ve all been saved on my computer for a long time, so I finally decided just to put them all up…I don’t know if anyone will find it useful/interesting, but at least I feel like I’ve accomplished something. 🙂

I also just finished redesigning the Provost, Alberta home page, as part of my job. Stop by if you like and sign the guestbook…make sure to comment on the lovely design. 😉

I’ve got about four other big things I’ve been working on for my webpage…I’m beginning to think I’m not going to get them finished before I leave. Especially since my family seems to think I should be spending this time with them. 🙂 But we’ll see! I’m quite excited about two of them, so hopefully they’ll be done before too long.

I just got back from my grandfather’s, where we went for a family barbecque today. That’s always fun. I just love going to his house. You know how people are always nostalgic for the house they grew up in? Well, we moved around so much that I don’t have one house that I really identify with my childhood. But my grandparents always lived in that house, so whenever I go back there, it brings back so many memories. I always feel so tall too, ’cause all the things that I used to think were big have shrunk a bit. 🙂

My sister and her boyfriend were there as well, and they brought their brand-new puppy. They just bought her yesterday, and she’s only about six weeks old. Much as I’m not really a dog person, I have to admit she’s adorable. 🙂 They named the poor thing “Cuddles” though…what a horrid name!! Of course everyone was lavishing affection on this animal, and it just started to irk me after awhile, because nobody really pays attention to my kitty at home anymore, only because he’s around all the time. And they keep saying how they can’t wait for me to take him, so they can get a dog. Well, I can’t wait to take him either, so he can actually live somewhere where he gets a little attention!

Anyway. 🙂 I went to Lloyd on Friday to do a bit of shopping…the new Wal-Mart had its grand opening that day. Big excitement on the prairies. 🙂 I got some stuff I like though…one of these days I’m really going to have to buy an entirely new wardrobe. I never buy clothes, because I can always find more important things to spend my money on, like musicals. 🙂 But I do need some work clothes and stuff.

Speaking of my kitty, he’s rubbing against my legs right now…I think he needs a hug. 🙂 So I better run for now…
