Well, I just finished exam number 2…only one more to go! Woo hoo! Or, rather, “hoo hoo”! If you don’t know what that means, I’m not going to explain it to you. 🙂 Anyway, the exam didn’t go particularly well, but I don’t really care at this point, because it’s OVER!! 🙂
So I’m really going to New York. I know this isn’t exactly news, but I just got over the biggest hurdle I had in my way, and I know for sure now that it’s really, truly going to happen. I am SO excited. I can’t even express how excited I am. There are so many things I’m looking forward to, and so many things that I know will happen that I can’t even begin to anticipate, and I just know that it will be by far the most exciting time of my life up to this point. I have the apartment for sure now, and I also have a ride to New York on May 9. So the date is set. 🙂
Unfortunately, it looks like I won’t have Internet access all summer, which is going to be *really* weird for me. I’ve had continuous Internet access for three years. If I have to go without it for a week, I’m in withdrawal. 🙂 So this is going to be really hard! I mean, I know I’ll still keep in touch with my good friends and everything, but I’ll have to unsubscribe from my mailing lists, and I won’t be able to update my webpages, and I’ll just feel so cut off from everything! But, really, it’s a small price to pay for getting to spend the summer in New York!
Douglas is back at the Scarlet Pimpernel! He was on vacation. 🙂 Not that it really affected me at all, ’cause I couldn’t see it anyway, but I missed hearing stories about how wonderful he is. 🙂 Do you think he’ll be scared if I go to the Minskoff every night from the time that I get there until the show closes?
Anyway, I don’t think I really have much else to say…my life has been studying and worrying about New York lately. I’ve gotta work tomorrow, and then I actually have a couple of days off (okay, technically I should be studying for that remaining exam, but I need a break! :-), so maybe I’ll do something exciting on the page then. But for now, good night!
