Lyrics & Book by: Lynn Ahrens
Based on the works of Dr. Seuss

The main story involves Horton the Elephant’s efforts to save his friend Jojo and the other inhabitants on Who, even though everyone else in the Jungle of Nool thinks Horton is the “Biggest Blame Fool” for believing in people who live on a small speck of dust. Read the complete synopsis.

The books of Dr. Seuss may be pretty varied, but their common style and imagination allowed a cohesive story to emerge from all the different bits and pieces. Read more about the life of the man the world knows as Dr. Seuss, or read more about the development of the musical.

There’s only one recording of this show so far! I wish there was some recording of the songs that were cut, but for now, you can read my review of the Broadway CD, or listen to a clip from one of my favourite songs.

I hadn’t heard anything about this show when I was asked to spend two weeks as a production assistant on the reading in New York. It didn’t take long for me to love the music, the story, and the cast! And although its Broadway run didn’t quite live up to my expectations, I still think it’s a lot of fun! Read about my various experiences with the show.

There have been a lot of really talented people in this show, including many that I wasn’t aware of before seeing or hearing them in it! Read a bit more about some of my favourites.
