Where Did We Go Right? – The Producers





The Producers opened on Broadway on April 19, 2001 at the St. James Theatre after a previous run in Chicago. The show stars Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, and received a record 15 Tony Awards nominations, and won in each of the 12 categories it was nominated: Best Musical, Best Score, Best Book, Best Director, Best Actor (Nathan Lane), Best Supporting Actor (Gary Beach), Best Supporting Actress (Cady Huffmann), Best Lighting Design, Best Scenic Design, Best Costume Design, Best Choreography and Best Orchestration. This set a new record for the most Tonys won by any show!

A Los Angeles production of the show opened on May 2, 2003, and closed on January 4, 2004. The show is currently on a national tour across the U.S. (visit the official site for tour dates). A new production opened in Toronto on November 21, 2003, closing there on September 5, 2004. The London production opened at the Drury Lane Theatre on October 22, 2004.
