Where Did We Go Right? – The Producers

This show wouldn’t be near the huge success it is without its amazing and talented cast! These people are just a few of the highlights.

Nathan Lane Nathan Lane. I’ve been a fan of his for such a long time, seeing him on stage was a real treat! And he’s brilliant as Max – you know he’s despicable and sleazy, but you can’t help feeling for him too and wanting him to succeed! He always, always makes me laugh. Matthew Broderick. Ditto what I said above about Nathan. 🙂 I used to watch Ferris Beuler’s Day Off at least once a week – and I loved him on the recording of How to Succeed…, and in pretty much everything else I’ve ever seen him do. But seeing him live was just amazing! His Leo is so endearing, even when he’s being incredibly annoying. 🙂 I honestly wish they could have given the Tony to both of them! Gary Beach as Roger De Bris Gary Beach. What can you say about a man who wears a silver dress *and* plays Hitler in the same show? 🙂 I can’t imagine a more perfect Roger, and he had me on the floor during the entire “Springtime for Hitler” performance. Oh, and he really *does* look like the Chrysler Building in that dress! 🙂
Roger Bart. I thought before going in that Roger was a great actor, but even expecting that, his Carmen just blew me away. He is *so* funny, easily one of my favourite parts of the show. I’m hoping to have the chance to see him play Leo sometime! For more on Roger, please visit Roger Bart: A Website. Roger Bart
Cady Huffman as Ulla Cady Huffman. I have to admit, I hadn’t heard of her before this show. But it’s easy to see why she won the Tony – she can sing, dance, and do a really good Swedish accent! 🙂 The bits with Ulla and Leo are just too adorable! I hope to see a lot more of her in the future.
Brad Oscar. Franz is just way too off the wall to not enjoy. 🙂 It must have been a blast for him to play it, and it certainly is to watch him doing it. I wish I could have seen him as Max as well! Brad Oscar
