Concept Recording Music. If you enjoy some of the songs that are on the concept recording and aren’t on the Original Broadway cast, like “There Never Was a Time” and “I’ll Forget You”, this is a good buy. Be forewarned though, that if you didn’t like the arrangements on the CD, you probably won’t like these arrangments as much as the newer ones either. You can buy this online at |

New Musical Adventure. I really enjoy most of the arrangements in this book. “Into the Fire” is a lot of fun to play, and songs like “When I Look At You” and “She Was There” sound great as well. I’m a little disappointed with “Falcon in the Dive” and “Creation of Man”, but perhaps someday we’ll get a book of piano solos! 🙂 I was also, however *very* disappointed that “Prayer” wasn’t included at all! But still, it’s one of the books I play most often, and if you’re a fan of the show, it’s more than worth it! |
