Statues and Stories – The Light in the Piazza

Victoria Clark Victoria Clark. I’ve been a big fan of hers since seeing her in Titanic, and I was so thrilled to see her in a real leading role. And is she ever suited for it! It’s hard to imagine anyone else doing it, Victoria was just so perfect as Margaret. For much more, visit the Official Victoria Clark Website.
Matthew Morrison. I’d loved Matthew in Hairspray, and it was a real treat to see him in something else. His energy and enthusiasm as Fabrizio made it easy to see why Clara fell in love with him, and his Italian pronunciation made me very envious. 🙂 Check out the Official Matthew Morrison Website to learn much more about this talented actor. Kelli O'Hara Kelli O’Hara. This is going to start sounding like a broken record, but I’d seen Kelli before as well, in Sweet Smell of Success, and she was one of the best things about that show. She’s great in this one too, bringing a real innocence and vitality to the role that makes Clara endearing both to Fabrizio and to the audience. Take a trip to Kelli O’Hara Online for more.
Michael Berresse. I have to mention him, since – you guessed it – I’d seen him before, in Kiss Me, Kate. I enjoyed him there, and I really enjoyed him here, though I was aching for him to dance a little more. 🙂 His fan site seems to be down at the moment, so in the meantime you can check out a brief bio here.
