Hugh Jackman. He’s the main reason I was interested in the London recording in the first place, and buying it really renewed my appreciation for this show. He’s a great Curly, very charming, and with a wonderful voice. I wish I could have seen him do the role on stage, but watching the DVD will have to suffice! Shuler Hensley. I enjoyed his performance on the recording, but it was only after seeing the DVD that I started to really understand what all the fuss was about. Although I’m sure it doesn’t compare to seeing him live on stage, the DVD captures an amazing portrayal of a character that is usually relegated to charicature.
