Julie Andrews. She was the first Eliza I ever heard, and whenever I think of this role, she will come to mind. I think she can do no wrong in general, and her performance in this show certainly lends a great deal of credibility to that theory! Anthony Warlow. He’s played the role of Henry Higgins three different times, so it’s obvious he must enjoy doing it as much as the rest of us enjoy him doing it! He’s wonderful as Higgins, even if doesn’t give him all that much of an opportunity to show off his glorious voice. If you’d like to know more about Anthony, take trip to the Official Anthony Warlow Website. | ![]() |

Colm Feore. He was the whole reason I went to see the show on stage in Stratford, and it was definitely worth the trip. He has a great voice, and he managed to find a perfect balance of actually singing the songs without giving up any of the character we’ve come to expect from Henry Higgins. For a bit more about Colm, you can see his bio at the Tribute.ca movie site. |
