There are so many fabulous websites out there that I’ve decided to create my own little award for some of my favourites.
The current winner is:
I’ve been visiting here for a while, and am always so impressed by the thoroughness and quality of this site’s reviews. The shows where she has reviewed more than one recording are particularly interesting. I only wish there were more of them, but hopefully that will come!
(Click on the site title for my review and link to the site. Unfortunately, some of the winners have been removed, as the sites are no longer online)
Helen Sjöholm |
- A site for the talented Swedish performer who’s appeared in shows like Kristina från Duvemala and Chess, this goes way beyond your typical fan site. An absolutely gorgeous layout, with great content. I only wish I understood Swedish! 🙂

Songs from the Musicals |
- Really, really cool Flash stuff happening on this site. 🙂 And aside from that, it’s an interesting concept – a look at a huge variety of shows, with selected songs from each, organized by show, creator, songs, and sound clips, as well as a photo gallery of Broadway personalities. A very fun way to waste some time! 🙂

Blond ‘N Blueeyed’s Jekyll & Hyde |
- Unfortunately this site hasn’t been updated since the show closed in Bremen, but it’s still a great resource about the German show – not to mention a really cool design and layout! If I ever make one website that looks this good, I’ll be thrilled. 🙂

- This was the very first Scarlet Pimpernel website, and is, in my humble opinion, still the best one. Shari has accumulated an *enormous* amount of information, pictures, sounds, etc, about every imaginable version of the story. If there’s ever anything you’ve wanted to know about the Scarlet Pimpernel, chances are you’ll find it here. The Unofficial Douglas Sills Website |

If you’re already a Douglas Sills fan, you will love this site, and if you’re not, you likely will be after visiting!
