Warum kannst du mich nicht lieben – Mozart!

Mozart at the Neue Flora Theatre
Mozart! is from the same creative team that had already set the life of the Empress Elisabeth of Austria to music. The basic idea of the show was to take the life of Mozart – the genius, the rebel, the legend – and present it through the musical language of today. Mozart! opened at Theater an der Wien in Vienna on October 2, 1999, and was voted “Best Musical of 2000”. A new production opened in Hamburg, Germany on September 21, 2001 and closed on June 30, 2002.

The Hungarian premiere of the show took place on March 21, 2003, and the show is currently playing in repertory at the Budapest Operetta.
