When you write the plot out, it looks pretty ridiculous….but then, what’s wrong with being ridiculous? Though you may not buy it as reality, in the magic world of Broadway, it works! Read the story of the show.

The songs are really a mix, written by different people, and in different styles, but they all fit into the show. Take a look through some of the lyrics.

The show is based on a movie that was a musical – but the stage show is more of a musical than the movie. Follow that? 🙂 If not, or if you just want to know a little more, take a look at some thoughts on the movie or read more about the development of the show.

There’s only one CD of this show so far! Read my review of the CD, or listen to a clip from one of my favourite songs.

I went to see this show a couple of weeks before it won the Tony for Best Musical…which is exactly what I predicted would happen after I saw it! 🙂 I would definitely enjoy a repeat visit. Take a look at my review of that performance.

This show just wouldn’t be the same without the fabulous people on stage! Check out some of the great performers that have been in this show.
