Well, this was the first time I went back to the show with someone that I’d already seen it with (Alison), so I can’t use that as an excuse for why I went to the show again. 🙂 I guess the only excuse I need is that I always have a great time, and leave the theatre feeling wonderful! On this day in particular, I was feeling pretty low, but I soon forgot all about it as I got caught up in the energy of what was happening on stage.
We had an understudy for Sophie this performance, and she was really great! I was a little apprehensive at first, because I had really enjoyed Marisa in the role the last couple of times, but there were no problems! Andrew Wheeler seemed to be a little off as Bill this show – perhaps he was sick or something. And we had a new Harry as well, who was good, but I think overall I liked Richard Binsley a little better.
Other than that, the cast was pretty much the same as what I’ve seen before, and we had a great time as always. It was fun to come back and see the same cast again after seeing the show in Australia. The audience was *really* enthusiastic, applauding in the middle of songs and everything, so that always makes it more fun!
