Good to be Alive – Lucky Stiff

Mary Testa Mary Testa. I’m a fan of hers in pretty much everything I’ve ever heard from her, and this show is certainly no exception. Her Rita is one of the highlights of the recording, and her delivery of some lines makes me laugh no matter how many times I’ve heard it! Visit the Mary Testa Website to learn more.
Sam Madwar. He played Harry in the production of the show that I saw in Vienna, and he was really good! Capturing the essence of a shy British salesman while speaking German can’t be the easiest thing to do. 🙂 He’s also got a very nice voice, and great comedic timing. I hope I can see him in another show sometime! There’s a biography here. Sam Madwar
Lilly Kugler Lilly Kugler. Rita is a great role, one of those opportunities to be really outlandish, and Lilly did a great job with it! She made the character sympathetic even while brandishing a gun, and she has a very nice voice – I’d love to hear her really let loose with it!
Daniel Große Boymann. Vinnie is another character that’s a little bit out there, and Daniel was excellent, whether scared for his life playing the straight man to Rita’s mayhem, or dressed in a maid’s outfit playing the villain. And “The Phone Call” was hysterical! Daniel Große Boymann
