Ellen Greene. To most people familiar with this show, she just *is* Audrey – her portrayal has been copied by so many others who have followed, and she perfectly captures the mix of ditziness and innocence that makes Audrey such a sympathetic character. His comedic timing and distinctive voice are perfect for it, and he is hilarious in the smaller parts that he plays as well. Hunter Foster. Like Douglas, I was thrilled with this casting as soon as I heard it. Hunter has a beautiful voice, and is perhaps a little too cool for Seymour, but manages to pull it off anyway.
