Don’t Feed the Plants – Little Shop of Horrors

Ellen Greene Ellen Greene. To most people familiar with this show, she just *is* Audrey – her portrayal has been copied by so many others who have followed, and she perfectly captures the mix of ditziness and innocence that makes Audrey such a sympathetic character. Not to mention her beautiful “Somewhere that’s Green”!
Douglas Sills. I couldn’t quite contain my excitement when I found out that Douglas would be playing Orin in the new production of Little Shop on Broadway. His comedic timing and distinctive voice are perfect for it, and he is hilarious in the smaller parts that he plays as well. Find out much more about Douglas at The Unofficial Douglas Sills Website. Hunter Foster Hunter Foster. Like Douglas, I was thrilled with this casting as soon as I heard it. Hunter has a beautiful voice, and is perhaps a little too cool for Seymour, but manages to pull it off anyway. He’s more self-confident than some takes on the character I’ve seen, but in a very endearing way. Visit Hunter Foster Online for more.
Kerry Butler. Yet another person in the new production that I was really looking forward to seeing! She is another performer with a gorgeous voice, and a great comedic touch, and really tried to make Audrey her own, which is not an easy thing to do!
