Les Misérables opened at the Barbican theatre in London on October 8, 1985, and transfered to the Palace Theatre on December 4, 1985, and then to the Queens Theatre on April 1, 2004, where it is still running! There is a recording available of the original cast. On October 8, 1995, there was a 10th anniversary gala held at Royal Albert Hall, featuring many original cast members, and there is a recording of that available as well. The following is a complete cast list, many of whom went on to play the same roles in the original Broadway version.
