This is one of those rare shows that isn’t based on any source material – unless you take the view that it is based on Jason Robert Brown’s own life. 🙂

The show had a fairly short run off-Broadway, but is destined to become a favourite of regional and community theatres. Find out more about the development of the musical.

I was expecting to love this CD, but that is really an understatement of how I feel about it. It is just a *brilliant* recording, and it doesn’t make one bit of difference whether you saw the show on stage or not, you will love this CD. Read more of my gushing in my review of the CD.

I finally got to see this show! I was VERY bitter when it closed the week before I went to New York, when it was one of the major reasons I was going! But it ended up being part of Canadian Stage’s season in Toronto, so I was able to see it there. Read more about my experiences.

There are only two characters in this show, so it’s a great opportunity for the actors to shine, and all of the ones I’ve heard and/or seen so far have done just that! Read a bit more about those performers.
