Broadway Revival Cast Recording. You can’t make a CD with Brian Stokes Mitchell and Marin Mazzie on it and expect me not to buy it. 🙂 I’ve never been a huge fan of Cole Porter, though I can understand why many others are, so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the music overall. But the orchestrations and production of the recording are first-rate, and the cast, as expected, is really wonderful. I wouldn’t say it’s one of the most-played CDs I have, but it is definitely something I enjoy whenever I do play it. And if you are a Cole Porter fan, you’ll probably like it even more! |
