Kiss of the Spider Woman began as a novel by Manuel Puig.
Consisting mostly of dialogue between the two men, it is a fascinating
character study as well as a gripping drama. Read a bit more about the
novel, or take a look at the movie version that was made, and then see how it
became a musical.

I’ve got two different recordings of this show, and I
really enjoy them both, although, as usual, I’ve got one favourite! :-
) Read my reviews of the CDs to find out which one, or listen to a
clip from one of my favourite songs.

I almost saw the tour in 1994 with Chita Rivera, but ended up just
missing it.
However, I did finally get to see the show on stage – in Budapest! And
though I don’t understand a word of Hungarian, I still had a great
time.

Most of my favourite performers come from the cast recordings,
especially the brilliant original cast! Take a look at my thoughts on
some of the wonderful performers that have been in this show.
