There are so many wonderful people that have been involved with this show…these are just some of my favourites!

Marla Schaffel. I’d never heard her before the original recording of this show, but she immediately became one of my favourites. As I’ve said before, I’m not a fan of very many females voices, but Marla’s is one that I just adore!! I was so thrilled to finally see her do this role on stage! I’ve also seen her perform as Caroline Neville in Titanic, and met her afterwards…she was so nice!! Anthony Crivello. He’s one of those performers I’d noticed before…especially in Les Mis and Kiss of the Spider Woman..but I didn’t add him to my list of obsessions until I heard Jane Eyre. I don’t know how anyone who hears him sing “Farewell, Good Angel” could not fall in love with that voice!! He’s just an amazing Rochester overall, and it’s a shame he didn’t stay with the show. James Barbour. Okay, I was pretty much prepared to hate him in this show, even though I really liked what I’d seen of his Beast, just because he wasn’t Anthony Crivello. But he didn’t give me any chance to dislike him. From the second he stepped (or rolled, as the case may be π on stage, I couldn’t take my eyes off him. He was a *wonderful* Rochester, and he and Marla were wonderful together. Find out much more at The Official James Barbour Website. |
Elizabeth DeGrazia. She’s one of my favourite Christines in Phantom of the Opera, and she does a wonderful job as Blanche in Jane Eyre, even though you’re not supposed to like the character very much. π Those high notes are incredible!! |

Mary Stout. Mrs. Fairfax is just hilarious, and she has some of the best lines in the show. π The audience just loved Mary, and I thought she was even better on stage than on the recording – she really made me laugh! |
Angela Lockett. She played Helen Burns, and she has one of the sweetest voices I’ve ever heard! “My Maker” makes me cry every time!! I had the pleasure of seeing her in Parade, and she was wonderful there too! |
Stephen Buntrock. Even though they’ve reduced the part of St. John, I thought Stephen did a great job. He looked so different with the wig on though…I don’t know if I would have recognized him if I didn’t know it was him already! And, of course, it goes without saying how great he sounded. |

Andrea Bowen. I can’t even begin to describe how adorable she is as AdΓ¨le! Her theatrical moments are priceless, and she really cracked me up during “The Finer Things”. Too cute!! |
