Anthony Warlow. Not much remains of his performance in this show, but from what there is, I can only conclude that it was fabulous! He was quite young at the time to play the part, but certainly vocally capable of it, as he is of pretty much any role. For more information about this amazing performer, check out the Official Anthony Warlow Website. |
Faith Prince. When I think of Adelaide, I will always think of Faith. Rewarded with a Tony for her work in the show, her “Adelaide’s Lament” is a masterpiece. She plays her not as a victim, but a woman in love who is determined to get what she wants…eventually. 🙂 The Faith Prince Site has much more. | ![]() |

Nathan Lane. Given that Nathan took his name from the character of Nathan Detroit, it shouldn’t really be a surprise that he was brilliant in the part. His style of comedy was a perfect match for a character who is definitely flawed, but ultimately loveable. The Nathan Lane Page has much more on this wonderful performer. |
Peter Gallagher. Though I must assume that Anthony would be my favourite in the role of Sky, I do enjoy Peter’s performance very much as well. He’s got a great voice, and really captures the easy charm and confidence that makes the character so appealing, both to Sarah and the audience.
