Fiddler on the Roof is based on Tevye the Dairyman and the Railroad Stories by Sholem Aleichem, and particularly on one of the stories, “Tevye’s Daughters”. I haven’t read the book yet, but I’m hoping to get the chance to do so soon, and will add some thoughts here when I do! If you have read it, and would like to share your opinions, please email me! |
