 A giant figure in modern Argentinian history, Eva Duarte only lived 33 years, but those years took her from a poor family in the town of JunÃn to the presidential palace of Buenos Aires. A model, then actress, and finally a politician (albeit an unofficial one), Eva was regarded as a saint and a common tramp at the same time.
