Ethan Freeman

“Fans for Kids” is an organization set up to encourage fans to take money they might have spent on

buying expensive gifts for their favourite performer, and use it to help sick children instead.

All of us involved with this site think this is a great idea, and hope you will take the time to visit the Fans for Kids website at www.fansforkids.de (only available in German).

Guest appearance made by Ethan Freeman at

THE BLUE PROM at the Atlantic Hotel, Hamburg

After the touching visit made to children who suffer from cancer at the

Clinic in Hamburg, Ethan was inspired to make a guest appearance at this

year’s “Blue Prom” at the Atlantic Hotel, Hamburg on April 6th. It was a

big charity event to support the children’s cancer help centre in

Hamburg. Many well-known political sponsors took part in the event.

Ethan sang a song for kids that he had written, called “Mighty small”

(Music and lyrics by Ethan Freeman), with backup by the amazing band the “SOULISTS”.

He debuted this song in 1997 during a charity concert for

children who suffer from AIDS. After that, the song disappeared, but Ethan found that “Blue Prom” was the perfect opportunity to reintroduce his song. The many visitors

appeared very impressed and moved by the wonderful ballad and thanked

him with enthusiastic applause. As a little bonus, Ethan sang his song from

“Mozart”, “Schließ Dein Herz in Eisen ein” which he had already sang twice

that day during the performances at the Neue Flora. Again, the audience

was very enthusiastic and rewarded him with never-ending applause.

Finally, Renate Vorbeck from the support team thanked Ethan for his

impressive performance (and his extra donation to “Fans for Kids” on

March 20th). She also thanked him for his support, although they have only known each other for 2 weeks.
