The Nashville Sessions. This CD includes many big-name artists, especially to country fans, such as Trisha Yearwood, Travis Tritt, and Deanna Carter. Overall, it’s interesting to hear and there’s at least one song, “The Day the Sun Stood Still”, that I truly enjoy and am sorry that it didn’t make it to the show. …the Complete Recording includes all the songs on the Nashville Sessions, and more. This is a double CD, includes many more of the songs that actually ended up in the show, and boasts even more great singers, including Betty Buckley doing a gorgeous rendition of “Five Boys”. It also has “How Many Devils?”, which is my favourite song from this show, and sounds great, even if the Broadway cast did it better. If you want to get a Civil War CD, this is the one to go for. |
