These are a few of my favourite performers from the show, both from the CD and from when I saw it on stage:

Roger Bart. I just can’t imagine anyone playing Snoopy any better than Roger did! After all, if you win a Tony for playing a dog, you must do it pretty well! 🙂 He makes me laugh on the CD so many times. I have seen him on stage in other things, and he’s just a great actor overall! Brian Sills. This is the guy that I saw as Snoopy on stage, and he managed to impress me despite the fact that I was comparing him to Roger Bart, so you know he had to be pretty good! At the end of the show, when he and Charlie Brown sit down together, it actually brought tears to my eyes! And made me want to go home and hug my cat. 🙂 | ![]() |

Kristin Chenoweth. This woman is just *so* *cute*. That’s all I can think whenever I see her in anything. She’s gorgeous and amazingly talented, but I can’t even be jealous because she’s just *so* *cute*. 🙂 She’s also perfect as Sally, obviously, since they created the part for her! The Tony was well-deserved. Find much more about Kristin at Kristin Chenoweth Online. |
Anthony Rapp. Okay, my first thought on hearing this casting was, “Mark is going to be Charlie Brown??” But Anthony actually does a really great job. Even though Charlie Brown really is a bit of a loser, you can always identify with him, and he manages to capture that dichotemy. More information can be found at his Official Website. | ![]() |

B.D. Wong. I was already a fan of B.D. before this show, but his wonderful Linus just added to the admiration. Linus has always been my favourite of the Peanuts gang, so the person who played him had to be extra special, and there are absolutely no complaints here! Check out B.D. Wong’s Unofficial Website. |
Daniel Murphy. As I just said, Linus is my favourite character, so I’d pay special attention to him on stage no matter who was playing the part. But I was lucky to get to see a really great Linus when I did finally see the show. He had just the right mix of vulnerability and wisdom that makes Linus so interesting. | ![]() |
