Unworthy of Your Love – Assassins

Assassins at Studio 54
The original off-Broadway production of Assassins played at Playwrights Horizons theatre
from December 18, 1990 to February 16, 1991, a total of only 73 performances. A London production played at the Donmar Warehouse the following year. Performance rights are available, and it is performed
in regional and amateur theatres in many different locations.

A Broadway production was scheduled for the fall of 2001, but was cancelled in the wake of the terrorist attacks on the U.S. that year. However, the idea was revived, and the show had its official Broadway premiere at Studio 54 on April 22, 2004. This production was nominated for 7 Tony Awards, and won five, including Best Revival of a Musical and Best Featured Actor (Michael Cerveris). This production was scheduled for a limited run only, and closed on July 18, 2004.
