Original Cast. I think this is one of those shows that is just inherently better live than it could ever be on a recording. Although I had listened to the CD before I saw the show, I enjoy it much more now that I know the rest of what's going on. However, that's not to say that you won't like it if you haven't seen the show! The cast is really great, particularly Jeff McCarthy and John Cullum. The music is fun, and a couple of songs really stood out for me. So if you're interested, it's worth getting, but if you can, I'd suggest seeing it on stage first!
