Frances Hodgson Burnett's The Secret Garden was published in 1911, and has become a classic, still appealing to people throughout the world. It has been praised for the originality of the at first unlikeable Mary and Colin, the working class boy Dickon, and the psychological accuracy in their characterisation and fine attention to detail. I have three recordings of this show, all of which are great!! One, however, gets listened to a little more than the others. Read my reviews of the CDs, or listen to a clip from one of my favourite songs.

I haven't seen this show on stage yet! I had hoped to see it in the summer of 2001 in London, but it ended up closing before I was able to make it over there. I will try to see another production somewhere else soon, and I'll be sure to add my thoughts here if/when I do!
